Personal data is data that can be traced directly or indirectly to you as a person. This could include, for example, the contact details of you or your organisation and its contact persons and the personal data we obtain from you in the context of the assignment you have given us, but also the data to be able to invoice our activities to you or that you provide to us in the context of attending events, receiving a newsletter or for the purpose of a job application. All this together with further third-party data obtained from public sources (such as the Chamber of Commerce or the Land Registry) or provided to Van Till by others in the context of handling the assignment. Our basic principle is that we never collect and process more personal data about you than is strictly necessary in the context of the performance of our agreement with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We process your personal data for various purposes. For example, we need your personal data to be able to carry out the assignment given to us and to keep proper records and collect invoices. We also use your personal data to keep in touch with you and keep you informed of relevant developments, for marketing and communication purposes or to process your application for services. Additionally, weneed your personal data to comply with legal obligations imposed on us. This may include legal requirements relating to the organisation of our business operations. Where appropriate, we are required under the Wwft to keep a copy of your proof of identity on file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We further process your personal data pursuant to one or more of the following legal bases: (i) performance of an agreement, (ii) compliance with a legal obligation, (iii) legitimate interest and\/or (iv) your consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Van Till advocaten, located at De Lairessestraat 131-135 (1075 HJ) Amsterdam, is responsible for collecting and processing your personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Your personal data will be passed on to third parties if this is necessary to achieve the purposes described herein, such as the performance of the agreement in which you have commissioned us to provide services, if we have a legal obligation to do so or in cases where we use an external service provider in the performance of our work. If we make use of the services of third parties, we will ensure that a processing agreement is in place with these third parties to ensure that your data is also treated confidentially by these third parties and only in the context of the purpose determined by us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Your data will be transferred to third parties based outside the EU where appropriate, if this is part of our arrangements with you. This may be the case, for example, if you request us to represent your interests outside the EU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You have the right to access, modify, transfer, forget or delete the personal data we process about you. You can also object to the (further) processing of your personal data. Finally, you can request us to restrict the processing of your personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you would like to inspect the personal data we have recorded about you or if you would like to amend data because it is incorrect or incomplete, or have it deleted or transferred, please contact us by e-mail at info@vantill.nl. We will inform you as soon as possible and at the latest within four weeks which personal data we have processed about you and whether we will or can comply with your request for deletion, amendment or transfer.
